My name is Allyson Fernandes and I’m a Realtor in Homer Glen, Illinois. I work for Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell and live in Homer Glen with my husband and 2 sons. I have a great family and a job that I LOVE!
Before becoming a Realtor I was a stay at home mother, and helped run a business with my husband. When our children became very active in the Homer Glen activities, we then sold our business and he now works for the new owners of his previous business, doing what he loves as well, just with more time to spend with our family.
I created this blog because, as a Realtor, I work with a lot of people who live in or are considering a move to Homer Glen. I have many clients who relocate to the area because of job transfers, a desire to move out of the city, or simply to live in one of Chicagoland’s most beautiful suburbs. While my main job is to sell houses, I also spend a lot of time answering questions about what goes on here in Homer Glen. I’m taking on this project to create a new resource for my clients, while learning more about the people, places and things that make our home town great.
